Bex Design have added to our digital print portfolio with the Mimaki UJF-6042 – a high end inkjet printer that is able to print at superior quality, on a variety of substrates.
High quality images
The Mimaki is able to print at up to 1,800 x 1,800 dpi and due to its accuracy and ‘variable dot technology’ it achieves impressive, photographic type images with incredibly smooth graduation when compared to competitor machines. Vivid colour and accurate Pantone colour matching can be achieved through its CMYK + light cyan and light magenta UV inks, while the addition of 2 white inks add to its versatility and speed of operation without compromising on quality. Furthermore, by printing layers of ink, images will not only look more enticing but have a raised/embossed effect.
The result is really impressive, high quality images which can be achieved even on its standard settings, with the advanced settings producing truly unbelievable results. Furthermore, UV LED curing offers reduced energy consumption and virtually no VOC* emissions during printing.
Range of materials and size
Along with the materials that Bex print every day, such as polycarbonates, polyesters and PVC’s, the machine can print onto a wide variety of different materials – whether it’s plastic, glass, metal or wood, the UJF-6042 will produce high quality results, time after time. A deep feed allows up to a 150mm depth of substrate and the flatbed of the machine enables printing up to just over A2 size, with a max print area of 610mm x 420mm.
