The ink configuration of our machine at Bex is specified as follows: CMYK plus light cyan, light magenta, orange & light black. By adding these non-primary colours to the process, the printer achieves an incredible 94.8% of all Pantone references.
In addition, a high level of saturation and colour intensity is possible thanks to the high print resolution (up to 1440dpi) and high density of ink dots when in high speed mode.
The printer also features in-built “Advanced Pass System 3” which ensures colour banding rarely occurs so large areas of flat colour are consistent with no variation.
Clean and precise cutting
The Mimaki’s integrated cutter automatically detects all register marks and cuts contour lines sharply by utilising simultaneous automatic calibration. The edges are cleanly cut with no residues, irrespective of the material. Half-cuts, die-cuts and perforation cuts are all available from this highly versatile machine.
